Robert Bell, 63, cofounded Democrats Abroad in Toronto in the early 1980s. He grew up in Chicago and Palm Beach and graduated from Northwestern University. He recalls, almost gleefully, being tear-gassed as a protester at the Chicago Democratic convention in 1968. But his dad was a Republican.

"He used to play golf with Joe Kennedy in Palm Beach but wrote him a letter saying `it's wonderful that your son is running for president' but that he had to vote for Dick Nixon," recalls Bell. "They never played golf together again."

Bell came to Toronto in 1975 when he bought a business manufacturing brake fluid and auto chemicals. (source)

Bell endorsed Hillary Clinton.

(Note: Democrats Abroad Superdelegates get 1/2 of one vote.)
