David Price

David Price is the Representative for North Carolina's 4th District, which comprises the "Research Triangle" area. His district includes all of Orange and Durham Counties, and parts of Wake and Chatham Counties. In addition to his Washington, D.C., office, Representative Price has constituent offices in Durham, Chapel Hill, and Raleigh.

Price holds a BA from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, and a divinity degree and a Ph.D. in political science from Yale. He was a professor of political science and public policy at Duke University before his election to the House of Representatives in 1987.

Currently, Dr. Price serves as the House Democratic Caucus Assistant Whip, Co-chair of the Democratic Budget Group, Co-chair of the Democratic Caucus Faith Working Group, and Chair of the Democracy Assistance Commission. He serves as Chair for the Appropriations Subcommittee on Homeland Security.

April 16th, Price indicated that he'll endorse Barack Obama.
